It’s been a long time coming, and I appreciate you hanging in there with me. Today I’m absolutely thrilled to announce that my 2nd full-length album, Safe’s Pace will be out this summer via Flesh and Bone Records. Preorders for CD and Red/Blue/Silver Glitter Cassettes are live now through their website.
The first single, “Loose Leaves” premiered today and is streaming over at Heavy Blog is Heavy, who had a whole bunch of nice things to say about it, listen here ! Also available via bandcamp and Spotify and coming to all streaming services soon, stay tuned.
This record represents a lot of growth for me, both as an artist and as a person, and I think the songwriting and the production place you directly in the middle of it all. The heavy parts are heavier, there are more textures and a greater sense of space, while walls of feedback cascade over the edges, and distortion from pegged amps cover you like a warm blanket. I couldn’t be more proud of how this record sounds and feels.
The finished product is the culmination of several years of hard work on the part of myself and my wonderful collaborators; Adrian Kobziar (Wall of Sound – Humboldt Park) who did an amazing job engineering and mixing, Pete Grossmann (Bricktop Recording) who knocked it out of the park with mastering, Alex Zarek (Alex Zarek Art & Design) who put together the absolutely gorgeous artwork, and last but not least Jake Morse and Kacey Keith at Flesh and Bone Records who helped me put it all together and make this a reality.
More to come, and as always, thanks for listening.
